Welcome to ~Cutoutstock, the club where you can find stock images of people, objects, animals etc already cut out for you (aren't we nice :) ).

Try putting a layer mask over it, thats what I do and that way if you accidentally mess something up all you have to do is erase that part of the mask. Its also really easy to use the smudge tool and smudge away some of the layer for little strings of hair. Or you can use the polygon lasso tool with a 2 or 3 pixel feather. :-)

how do you cut things out??? they all look flawless!!! 0.0

I use the pen tool in photoshop, but even then, there are some rough edges. >.>;;
